First, a little history lesson.
Founded in 1985, MDS started off as a construction company in Montreal, Quebec. MDS moved into the gas turbine engine testing business when they received an opportunity from Canada’s Department of National Defence. This made us the only Canadian company to establish themselves in this specialized sector of aerospace. With our roots in construction and specialization in engineering complex solutions, MDS boldly entered the international market. We designed and constructed a world class engine test facility for Morocco’s national airline, Royal Air Maroc, in 1990 ultimately putting MDS on the international map. Since then MDS has grown to be the distinguished supplier of gas turbine engine test facilities to the world’s most renowned engine manufacturers.
MDS is management-owned and the owners come to work every day.
The owners of the company come to the office every day, meaning our workplace is also their workplace.
