MDS Leaders Learning From The Best In The World

Leadership development programs seem to come and go with the seasons as companies chase the latest trends. Not so with MDS and the TEC Canada executive and leadership development programs. This summer, we celebrated two years of continuous participation in TEC Inside and we are not planning on slowing down.
In fact, over the past two years, MDS has only expanded its involvement. When our membership was featured in The Globe & Mail in 2016, we had only 16 participants in TEC Inside sessions. It started as a monthly development program for senior level management and has grown to include all directors and managers within MDS, bringing the number of participants to 42.
“We believe in the power of people,” says Carole Morris, Director of Human Resources. “When you are as future-minded as we are, executive development is not just for the executive suite. We are investing in our people so they build the future of MDS.”
The TEC programs offer a peer advisory board, one-to-one coaching, expert speakers, fast-paced learning and global networking. Our leaders benefit greatly from the world class coaching and new perspectives that are featured in the full day TEC sessions. We benefit even more from the chance to reset and connect face to face for a frank discussion. This opportunity to bring up ideas and process issues makes MDS better, every day.
With our focus on harnessing the power of people as well as technology, MDS will continue to invest significantly in training our leaders to ensure that we learn from the best in the world.
