Live Interview with Joe Hajjar, Vice President, Business Development at MDS

July 27, 2018 – This past Wednesday, Joe Hajjar, Vice President, Business Development at MDS, sat down with Carlo Lombard and Steele Campbell for a Techopia LIVE interview, discussing MDS’s contract with Rolls-Royce to build the largest test facility on Earth.

What does it meant to work with the Canadian Commercial Corporation and operating in foreign jurisdictions? How do Carleton University graduates come into play? Watch the Techopia LIVE recording for details on the above, the Rolls-Royce project, and our recent collaboration with the National Research Council Canada (NRC).

Slated for completion in 2020, the 1.85-acre facility in Derby, England will push “the art of the possible,” Hajjar told Techopia Live. The test cell, as it’s called, will be home to Rolls-Royce’s next-generation jet liner engine, a powerful, 12-foot diameter gas turbine.
