MDS Collaborates with Carleton University and Bombardier

MDS is committed to research and development in many areas, one of which being the area of aerodynamics and acoustics. In collaboration with Carleton University, Bombardier, and other research institutions, MDS is investing in a 3-year project to develop and evaluate acoustic measuring techniques in low and high speed wind tunnels. The project has the support of the Consortium for Aerospace Research and Innovation in Canada (CARIC) and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), both of which are contributing to further develop a unique facility within Carleton University that is currently non-existent anywhere else in Canada. With the facility being able to provide air flow speeds up to the supersonic level, the knowledge gained from this project will be fundamental to improving product designs for both Bombardier and MDS. We look forward to collaborating with such great organizations and we look forward to completing a successful project together!
