These highly specialised test facilities are capable of testing aircraft engines at altitude conditions while simulating flight-realistic velocities, temperatures, and pressures to validate and certify future sustainable aircraft propulsion systems and technologies. MDS provides a fully integrated scope, from detailed air and power plant sizing for altitude simulation through to control system design and all supporting mechanical systems, ensuring a complete, optimized solution.
