MDS Gets Ready “For the Next 25 Years”
Ottawa, Nov. 21, 2013 – Kevin Fitzgerald, CEO of MDS, announced today that the company has put in place a management buy-out by key members of the leadership team, which will “position us even more strongly for the next 25 years”.
“Our goal has always been to ensure a seamless leadership transition and with this new ownership structure, MDS will continue to keep our focus on our customers,” said Mr. Fitzgerald, who will continue as CEO for the next 18 to 24 months.
“The leadership team has the experience, the know-how and the determination to ensure the continued growth of the company,” added Mr. Fitzgerald. “I am looking forward to leading MDS through this transition to build an even greater company,”
