MDS recently returned from China with an Agreement to design and supply a Industrial Gas Turbine Test Facility for PetroChina to be built in Langfang, China (approx. 60 km SE of Beijing). The test cell is part of an MRO facility, used to overhaul and test the GE LM2500 and Rolls-Royce RB211 engines which power the natural gas WEPP (West-East Pipeline Project).
MDS will be responsible for the specification of the complete test facility. Additionally, MDS will be responsible for the turnkey design and supply of all test systems, which include:
